Writing Challenge - Day 13
Day 13: Share a productivity hack that works for you.
I have one, and it's the most effective for me (so far). But I can’t use it on purpose :3. Can you guess what it is?
When I get into this condition, I feel like I’m at my most productive version. I never imagined that I could go jogging alone in the morning. I mean, how is that even possible?! Yeah, I know it’s possible, but if you know me in person, you’d never expect me to wake up so early and go jogging.
I really want to get into that condition again, but as I said, I can’t make it happen on purpose. Any thoughts on what it is? :3
And there's a bonus effect to this. I can sleep earlier, get things done without getting distracted easily, stay ultra-focused, and even get the rest I need without feeling tired like usual. I feel fresh.
I can’t say it’s exactly a productivity hack because it feels more like an accident (?).
It’s simply not having a phone. ✨
Well, it’s not really not having a phone, my phone was broken, and when it was broken, I spent 2 or 3 days without a working phone. I had another one, but it needed to be charged every time I used it. Tiring, bruh :3. But can you imagine? The absence of a gadget had that big of an effect!
Whenever I try to replicate that condition (no phone), it just doesn’t feel the same. I still get distracted. I don’t know why it’s different. Strange, but it’s real :3
It’s funny how something as simple as not having a phone can make such a huge difference. It’s a bit ironic, really, something that connects us to the world can also pull us away from being truly productive.
I guess sometimes, the best productivity hack is simply disconnecting to reconnect with yourself.
